Hikari recently teamed up with Milk Magazine's 'I Love Up-cycling' campaign in China. I Love Up-cycling is a project that encourages people to DIY and "up-cycle" their used clothing items. Why? "Reducing wastes under the main stream of fast-fashion. Demonstrate how art can change the life," shares Milk.
Hikari was one of several artists - that also included Ron English, Jeremyville, Kenny Scharf, David Flores, and Jason Freeny - who contributed fun items like patches and buttons to fans to spread the environmental-friendly message. All you have to do is bring in your old clothes, and Milk provides items to give the clothes a new life.
The first event in the series took place at the Strawberry Music Festival 2017 in Shanghai from April 29th-May 1st, and was attended by over 100,000 people. Check out some of the photos below!
Thanks to everyone who attended and posted photos, and to APPortfolio for their support!
