On her inspiration, Hikari shares: "In the story of The Little Prince, I like the relationship between the Prince and the rose. It's indispensable to take good care of someone you love. The prince who lives alone on a small star overlaps with the image of the lonely child in my works. This time I drew him in my own character style."

Hikari's original painting is now on view in the exhibition "One Must Look With the Heart", at 7 Mallory Street in Wan Chai located in a beautifully refurbished Grade II listed historic building.
