Hikari's painting "My Dear Friend" is on view at Corey Helford Gallery this weekend. Part of the gallery's collaborative exhibition, "Kirbyvision", with the Jack Kirby Myseum, her painting celebrates the art of the superhero with a reimagined interpretation of her caped Lonely Hero character. "Kirbyvision" is a group exhibition celebrating Kirby's artwork and profound influence on comics, art, and popular culture. The exhibition features new works, inspired by one of the most influential and prolific creators in the history of comics, from over 70 of the top artists in the New Contemporary art scene, alongside original artworks by Kirby.
