現代の問題や作家自身の感情を擬人化した、カラフルでイラスト的な星の瞳の子どものポートレートで知られる、下田ひかりの新作絵画展。

この度メグミオギタギャラリーでは、下田ひかり個展「現在地」を開催します。下田は作品の中で、可愛さと恐ろしさ、孤独、生と死が同居する世界を想像しています。2011年から海外でも作品を発表し、2014年7月にCorey Helford Gallery（ロサンゼルス）にて初個展、2018年には地元長野県の朝日美術館にて個展を開催しました。また、2021年にはグループ展 “Portraits” にて弊廊初展示を行いました。

Hikari is releasing a new print this week with StolenSpace Gallery in London. Dropping on Thursday, August 29th as part of the gallery's Summer Editions exhibition, this exclusive edition of Children of This Planet #60 is available for the first time anywhere. Any prints not sold during the reception will be released online  on Friday, August 30th. More details below!
